Mathagondapalli Model School (MMS) a residential school affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi, is one of the units of Mathagondapalli Education Centre (MEC) working for the underprivileged children from southern India. The students of MMS come from the difficult circumstances where there are development projects supported by TdH-NL. They are from the poorest strata of society and usually have not received a very good education in their previous schools. At MMS, we believe that all children have the right to quality education and the students should acquire an education for a sustainable future ensuring their livelihood and social identity as citizens of the Nation. When they leave MMS they should be self reliant as individuals with concern for family, community and the larger environment. MEC has its spacious and charming campus at Mathagondapalli near Hosur.

An excellent command of English is essential for all posts. As the philosophy of the school encourages the development of the whole child, an interest in extra-curricular activities such as games and sports, art and craft, music and drama, or environmental studies would be an asset.

All teachers are expected to provide quality education for the students in accordance with the school's curriculum, teaching methodology and principles for learning; to establish a safe learning environment where active learning takes place; to work consistently in a positive, professional and supportive manner and to carry out the school responsibilities at all times in a professional and ethical manner.
