Terre des Hommes is a development organization dedicated to children and is named after a book by the famous French writer and World War II pilot Antoine de Saint Exupery. Translated in English it means,“Earth for Humanity”. Founded in 1965 by dedicated volunteers, Terre des Hommes- Netherlands supports around 300 project partners in 13 countries.
In India, Terre des Hommes- Nederlands completes twenty five years of its development initiatives through committed NGOs which was set out in 1984. Currently, it supports projects in the Southern States in India: Tamilnadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Goa.
“Newsdrop” serves as a common platform which showcase the excellent grass root level work and other useful information by and for the partner NGOs supported by Terre des Hommes, Netherlands in India.
This NEWSDROP portal will greatly help to learn and share the field based learnings, achievements and the other technicalities in the development interventions of TdH-NL in India.
